When to Seek Therapy?

At certain times in life, we may feel stuck, helpless, or in a cycle that is hard to get out of. While it may take time to cope with some difficulties, sometimes we have difficulty resolving our inner conflicts on our own.

Therapy is a process that helps you understand your emotions, recognize your thought patterns, and support you in dealing with the problems you are experiencing. However, many people think that they need to feel “very bad” to seek therapy. However, therapy is an important step not only in times of crisis, but also in getting to know yourself better and increasing your psychological resilience.

  • Intense and Ongoing Emotional Difficulties

If you constantly feel unhappy, anxious, angry or restless and this has been going on for a long time, therapy may be beneficial.

  • Stress and Anxiety Affecting Daily Life

If the stress you experience at work, school or in your private life has become unmanageable and is affecting your daily functioning, it is important to get support from a professional.

  • Repetitive Negative Cycles

If you are constantly experiencing the same types of relationship problems, always finding yourself in the same impasse, or realizing the impact of your past traumas on your present, therapy will help you understand this cycle.

  • Psychological Difficulties Turning into Physical Symptoms

Psychological difficulties can create physical symptoms over time. If you are experiencing constant fatigue, headaches, stomach upsets or unexplained pain, this may be a signal from your unconscious.

  • Knowing Yourself

Therapy is a powerful tool not only for solving problems, but also for getting to know yourself better, understanding your inner world and discovering your potential.
